I began my career as a Primary school teacher. It seemed to me that whilst it was clear that tracking pupil outcomes was essential to my teaching, too much time was spent collating and interpreting the data, there had to be a better way.  Having worked for Capita and the local council data team for a while, I decided to setup as a freelance consultant in 2008. 

 

I support schools, nurseries and academies in the UK with analysing data, providing bespoke tracking solutions and training sessions for office staff, SLT, teachers and governors.  I am also a director of helloData, co-creator of the EYDT (Early Years Developmental Tool) and accredited Integris and Arbor trainer.
